I was quite happy with the final design of the dress. Although my original model, Moa wasn't there, the dress was almost the right size for Claire, so it worked out alright. There are a few defects, but a good start to further projects. I'm excited for the next piece.

Hey :)

So this is the very first entry, and it's good timing, as I am currently working on a pretty cool IB Art project.

Idea: The Little Black Dress

Twist: A tad bit of punk (Vivienne Westwood - my favorite!)

I started with thinking I would just do the simple Chanel creation, then I thought about the importance of adding uniqueness and cultural importance to fashion.

And of course, the most important fashion era was the 70's, when a punk subculture emerged as what would become one of the most prevailing styles.

This weekend I'm heading to Leiden to find some fabrics.

Am super excited to get started :)
